Pakistan in form, declared second innings on 175-2

Spinners Zulfiqar Babar 2-30 and Yasir Shah 2-49 and Rahat Ali 2-38 finished the New Zealand batting on 4th Day of first test match.

Weak batting displayed by New Zealand who promised a lot before the Test match but only Brendon McCullum 39 runs, Corey Anderson 23 runs and Kane Williamson 23 runs showed little resistance.
Sodhi said that.
“We are disappointed with the way things have turned out. We cannot win from this position, but we will surely try and make things difficult for them tomorrow,”

Mc Cullum and Tom Latham 20 runs gave New Zealand a confident start of 57 runs.

After 3 wickets gone, Anderson and Williamson added 42 for the fourth wicket but calamity struck as three wickets fell in the space of just five balls.

Muhammad Hafeez had Williamson stumped while Rahat Ali got Jimmy Neesham wicket and BJ Watling off successive deliveries, both gone without scoring.

Pakistan produced another best performance to get victory in the first Test against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Mohammad Hafeez hit an unbeaten 101 before Pakistan declares their second innings on 175-2.

New Zealand needs 306 runs while Pakistan need only two wickets on 5th Day of first test match
A 9th wicket between Mark Craig on 27 runs and Ish Sodhi on 27 runs delayed Pakistan’s victory on the 4th day but New Zealand were struggling on 174-8.
Pakistan need just two wickets on the 5th day for a 1-0 lead in the three test match series.
Pakistan had made d566-3 declare in their first innings while New Zealand were bowled out for 262 in their first knock.
